Remember to bend your knees and lift with your leg muscles, not
your back muscles, when picking up your little one.
|
| |
Keep the baby carrier as close to you as possible when lifting
in and out of the car.
|
| |
Dont twist your back when transferring babys toys
and laundry from place to place.
|
| |
Vary the position you carry your child. Try front carry, football
carry, hip carry (use both hips!), and shoulder carry.
|
| |
Use a pillow to support your baby when breastfeeding. This will
reduce the strain on your upper back and shoulders.
|
| |
Make sure you have good low back support when rocking your child
to sleep and be careful not to fall asleep in the chair!
